A success but also a good wish for the restart!
Italy and ''handmade'' continue to make headlines in the national press
The contract signed for a maxi order in the new GES-2 exhibition center in Moscow, designed by the star architect Renzo Piano, is recent news.
The supply of plates, cutlery and glasses was commissioned to our "business partner" CIFA "Centro Italiano Forniture Alberghiere" which for over forty years has been a reference point for hotels, restaurants, bars, hotel chains, catering and restaurant companies.
Ges-2 is an old power plant, now abandoned, which was acquired by the V-A-C Foundation in 2014 and the ?Renzo Piano Building Workshop? was commissioned to design the new important cultural center. The main building has therefore been transformed into an area where multiple activities will arise, including exhibition spaces, a theater, a library, a shop, cafes, restaurants and a residential block.
One of the statements made to the newspapers by the current president Vittorio Fanfarillo:
«We see this opportunity as an excellent showcase to promote products made and created in Italy. Among these, the Royale porcelains, (our partner company and symbol of national craftsmanship), which will be made available to the activities in the Russian center. Next September the structure will open and by that date we will have to supply everything, including some particular pieces made on specific request. A commitment that honors us and has given us a good dose of renewed enthusiasm».
